Not only did I get to tiptoe through the daffodil bulbs as I made my way up the garden, I've got the door open to welcome in the warmer air and that glorious sunshine.
Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2 said is was a lovely day, and he was right! I was even tempted to enjoy my lunch outside today, but work wouldn't wait.
Let's hope the sun stays around until the weekend when I'm off to the Thriplow Daffodil Festival. It's the first day of Spring on Sunday and my mother's birthday, and I can't think of a better place to mark both occasions!
