After battling through the rain to take my daughter to playgroup today, I managed to make time for a spot of pruning whilst my little boy slept soundly in his buggy. Armed with my clippers and my wellies, I headed out and quickly snipped away and rather excitingly, spotted the first signs of new growth. Buds are already appearing on the branches and those daffodils bulbs, which my daughter and I painstakingly planted in the Autumn, whilst my son sat on the grass and ate the leaves, are definitely coming up for air. Ahhh, the next few weeks are going to be filled with the hope of warmer weather and sunshine!
