Berylware - knitted by the nation

Just a little note to say how much I love Berylware's gorgeous scarves which have been 'hand knitted by the nation'.

Spotted on last night's edition of 'High Street Dreams' I have instantly become of fan of Beryl's designs which she says "are inspired by 'rose tinted memories' of a time when craft meant comfort, and warmth was not just an open fire but homemade apple pie, evenings round the wireless and a wink from the boy next door."

And they're made in Britain too!

Cuckoo

I've just got back to the shed after a lovely meeting with the ladies who own the gorgeous shops Cuckoo and Cuckoo Kids at Burwash Manor.

With stockists including Avoca, Odd Molly, Saltwater, Seasalt and Marilyn Moore to name but a few, it's definitely on my shopping list.

Oh, and they have a beautiful website too designed by my favourite designers, Mack and Me.

Go on, indulge yourself.

Hot, hot, hot or should I say ho, ho, ho?

Well what can I say other than in a typically, British fashion, it's too hot! Working in the shed today is absolutely beautiful, but if I'm honest it could do with being a little cooler. Still, what a beautiful day to be working at Little House PR.

It's a busy day too as Breeze has just launched its Autumn/Winter collection, so I'm already speaking to journalists about their Christmas issues - fancy that!

If you're already thinking ahead to those cooler days then take a look at these cute little trays. Country Living and 25 Beautiful Homes magazine already have their eye on them, so I recommend keeping a look out for them in Breeze's gorgeous shop on Trinity Street in Cambridge and online www.breeze.uk.com from October.

What's happening in my garden today?

The birds are singing, particularly my little friend, Robin Redbreast who perches himself on the garden fence beside me. The fragrant flowers on the lilac tree are filling the air with their sweet smelling scent as the Hostas are starting to grow. I'm also looking forward to the arrival of the frilly, pink Peonies and the bright purple Alliums, but I think I might have to wait a few more weeks for those." says Sweet William.

Fanfare please, my new website is now live! So why not pop the kettle on, sit down and take a look. I hope you like it.

A BIG thank you to Dan and Julia at Mack & Me for designing such a beautiful site.

I just love it when this happens!

I've been working in PR for a long time now and if I've learnt one thing it's that careful targeting and, quite often, persistence really does get results. Keep a look out for some wonderful, home accessories for Christmas from Breeze www.breeze.uk.com in a forthcoming issue of the fabulous, Country Living magazine.

Definitely time for Tea!

Don't you just love it when you discover something which makes your heart beat with excitement?! Well, I've just discovered a delightful, little tea shop in North London called Emporium Tea Rooms. It's probably not somewhere to take my husband, but for a girly treat that's trimmed with bunting, I think it fits the bill perfectly! All I need now is a good excuse!
